I’ll share with you the power of presence.
We spend too much time either dreaming about the future or regretting the past. How can you enjoy your life, if you aren’t present for it? The first aspect of my program is to teach you how to live in the “now”.
What’s the benefit of living in the now?
Help me answer this question for you. Imagine the last time that you had an argument with someone. Maybe it was your spouse, significant other, or a co-worker. Do you recall what they triggered inside of you that caused your response? Don’t feel bad if you can’t. This is precisely the point. We are often unaware of what’s going on in our heads. The thoughts we miss, and our emotional triggers, can make a total mess of our lives.
How am I going to teach you to be present?
There are many ways to achieve greater presence (when you join my program, I’ll teach you several of them). A more interesting question is; how will more presence help you from a practical standpoint?
First, being present and aware is the real “art of living.” Practically speaking, being present allows you to understand your mistaken beliefs, which liberates you from a life of painful misunderstanding.
I’ll teach you how to recognize your mistaken beliefs and how to develop new, healthy alternatives.
Mistaken beliefs are negative views that you hold about yourself that affect your self-esteem. They determine your feelings about your abilities and your relationships with others.

If we really want to grow, we must change how we think. We need a new vision about life, and our world, without the filter of mistaken belief.
We’ll look at who you are and what you really want?
This isn’t some fluffy notion of finding yourself. When we look at who you are, it’s about what you value, what’s important to you. You might think that who you are is “what you do”, or “what you believe”, but who you are is actually about what you value at your core.
We take these core values and create a (value-based) vision for your future that is satisfying and fulfilling.
Hopefully, as you were reading, you could see obvious benefits to the program. While the areas of focus that I discussed in this profile are important, they don’t include my entire practice.
The program integrates the best of modern applied psychology, which includes mindfulness, effective life coaching, and Cognitive Based Therapy. But my greatest value as a coach is life experience and my sincere wish to understand you and your challenges. I offer tools that we can use together to help achieve the fulfillment that you desire.
