The Basis for mindfulness meetup focuses on introductory topics and meditations to acquaint members with the initial principles and practices of mindfulness. It is by no means exhaustive but does give the new member the tools they need to jump in with the rest of the group

Meet greet – meet new and current members prior to the meeting.
Silent meditation – Grounding meditation (not guided) instruction provided for those new to meditation.
Group introductions – Introduce yourself to the group. Share mindfulness / meditation experience, and the reason you joined the group.
